Andrei Kondakov: “All music on this album is published for the first time. This recording brings together my main stylistic and compositional aspirations. I would like to thank my musician friends who put their soul and energy into this recording: the brilliant Saint Petersburg saxophonist Dmitry Semenov, the talented drummer from Rostov-on-Don Alexander Bozhenko and my long-time partner in many projects Grigory Voskoboynik, who this time combined his excellent command of the double bass with the precise work of a sound producer. We wanted to do all we can to make our short compositional stories interesting to listen to.”
